New eye scan could sharpen view of wet AMD treatment
NCT ID NCT03803631
Summary
This study tested a new, non-invasive eye scan called OCT angiography to see if it could better monitor the blood vessel changes in 'wet' age-related macular degeneration (AMD). It involved 49 patients who were already receiving standard treatment with Eylea injections. The goal was to see if this new scan could spot early signs of the disease returning and provide more detailed information than current scans.
