Eye scans could unlock clues for untreatable disease
NCT ID NCT07006649
Summary
This study aims to understand a rare, inherited disease called pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE) by looking at the eyes. Researchers will use a non-invasive eye scan to compare blood flow in the back of the eye between 60 healthy volunteers and 60 people with PXE. The goal is to find a measurable sign in the eye that could help track the disease and test future treatments.
