Could an eye scan predict Alzheimer's? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT04389437
Summary
This study is testing whether advanced eye imaging can detect early signs of Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders. Researchers will use two non-invasive scanning techniques to examine tiny blood vessels and structures in the retina of 450 participants with and without memory problems. The goal is to identify specific patterns in the eye that might serve as early markers for different types of dementia.
