Tiny lens tracks eye pressure swings in glaucoma patients after cataract surgery

NCT ID NCT02658071

First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study aimed to see how eye pressure changes before and after cataract surgery in people with exfoliative glaucoma, a condition where protein deposits block fluid drainage. Researchers used a special contact lens to measure eye volume changes over 24 hours. Only 6 people took part before the study was stopped early, so results are limited.
