Doctors test lower radiation for eye cancer to reduce side effects
NCT ID NCT06432660
Summary
This study is creating a registry to track patients with eye melanoma who receive a specific type of radiation treatment called eye plaque brachytherapy. The main goal is to see if using lower doses of radiation can still effectively control the tumor while causing fewer side effects. Researchers will follow 42 patients to monitor for cancer recurrence and treatment-related complications.
