New eye injection aims to halt scarring from herpes infection

Summary
This study is testing a new way to deliver a drug directly into the cornea to treat blood vessel growth caused by herpes eye infections. Researchers are injecting the medication into the middle layer of the cornea to see if it is safe and effective at reducing scarring and improving vision. The trial will enroll 100 adults with this specific type of corneal damage who haven't had other similar treatments.
