New eye scanner lets patients get scanned lying down

NCT ID NCT04661124

Summary

This study tested a new version of an eye imaging device that can scan patients while they are lying on their backs. Researchers compared the image quality from this new scanner to images from standard upright scanners. The goal was to see if the new device could provide equally good pictures to help doctors diagnose retinal diseases.
