New eye drop study aims to tackle root cause of chronic dry eyes

NCT ID NCT07224529

Summary

This study is testing whether a prescription eye drop called Vevye can help adults with meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), a condition that often causes dry, irritated, or burning eyes. About 48 participants will use the eye drops twice daily for six months while researchers check for improvements in symptoms and eye health. The goal is to see if this treatment can better manage this common eye condition.
