Could a simple eyelid wipe cut infection risk after eye surgery?

Summary
This study is testing whether using a special eyelid cleanser before and after cataract surgery helps reduce bacteria on the eyelids and improves dry eye symptoms. About 100 adults scheduled for cataract surgery will be randomly assigned to either use the cleanser or receive no special eyelid hygiene. Researchers will measure bacteria levels and ask about eye dryness to see if the cleanser makes a difference.
