Summary
This study aims to understand how tiny blood vessels around the fovea (the part of the eye responsible for sharp vision) develop in infants with retinopathy of prematurity, a leading cause of childhood blindness. Researchers will use a special eye imaging technique called OCTA to track changes in these blood vessels over time. The study involves 16 infants who meet screening criteria for the condition, and their parents must consent to participation. The goal is to gather fundamental knowledge about how these vessels form normally and how they are affected by premature birth.
