First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether filtering certain substances out of the blood (a process called apheresis) can reduce severe tiredness in people with long COVID. 63 adults with chronic fatigue after a COVID infection were randomly assigned to receive either the real treatment or a sham procedure. The goal was to see if removing autoantibodies could improve fatigue and other symptoms.
