Summary
This study looks at whether taking an antibiotic pill for 7 days after surgery to fix a broken leg, ankle, or foot can lower the chance of wound infection in adults with poorly controlled diabetes. About 40 participants will either receive the antibiotic or standard care. The team will check for infections and side effects over 3 months.
