Summary
This study tested whether an expressive arts therapy program could strengthen hope in people with schizophrenia. Fifty hospitalized adults took part, with half receiving eight sessions of art therapy in small groups and the other half getting standard care. Those in the art therapy group showed significantly higher hope levels afterward, suggesting this creative approach may support emotional recovery.
