Last-Resort leukemia drug made available to 29 patients

NCT ID NCT07517315

First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This program provides continued access to the experimental drug vodobatinib for people with Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) whose cancer did not respond to previous treatments. It is for patients who were already in the main study and still benefit from the drug, with no other options left. The main study was stopped early due to changes in the treatment landscape, not safety concerns. Patients receive the drug under their doctor's care, and 29 people have transitioned to this expanded access so far.
