NCT ID NCT07510295
First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether exosomes (tiny particles from stem cells) can improve atrophic acne scars when applied after fractional CO₂ laser treatment. Twenty-two adults received laser on both sides of the face, then exosomes on one side and a standard solution on the other. Researchers measured scar improvement and skin texture over several weeks to see if exosomes provided extra benefit without increasing side effects.
