Personalized Egg-Boosting treatment tested for women struggling to conceive
NCT ID NCT07249411
Summary
This study tested a new lab technique to help women with low ovarian reserve have more mature eggs for fertility treatment. Researchers added tiny particles called 'exosomes,' collected from the woman's own body, to the liquid where immature eggs are grown. The goal was to see if this is safe and helps more eggs mature so they can be fertilized. The resulting embryos were frozen for potential future use, but no pregnancies were attempted in this initial phase.
