NCT ID NCT07224737
First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested a new blood test that looks at tiny particles called exosomes to find hidden cancer spread in people with a type of bile duct cancer (intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma). The goal was to see if the test could predict which patients already have cancer cells that have spread but can't be seen on standard scans. 230 patients who had surgery for their cancer took part. The results could help doctors better plan treatment and avoid unnecessary surgeries.
