Exoskeleton + spinal zaps aim to rebuild muscle and bone in paralyzed patients

Summary
This study tests whether walking in a robotic exoskeleton combined with mild electrical stimulation of the spinal cord can improve muscle and bone health in people with long-term spinal cord injury. 24 participants who cannot walk will be assigned to either active stimulation or a sham (inactive) stimulation during exoskeleton training. The goal is to see if this combination can reverse muscle and bone loss that often occurs after injury.
