Robotic leg braces tested to help Parkinson's patients walk and prevent falls
NCT ID NCT06028529
Summary
This study is testing a lightweight, portable exoskeleton—a device that straps to the legs—to see if it is safe and practical for improving walking and reducing falls in people with Parkinson's disease. Participants will wear the device while walking under supervision twice a week for eight weeks. The goal is to see if this technology can become a new tool to help people with Parkinson's stay mobile and independent.
