Can exercise ease this heart condition? new trial investigates

NCT ID NCT05818605

Summary

This study is testing whether a supervised, moderate-intensity exercise program can improve symptoms and heart function in people with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), compared to their usual activity level. About 70 participants will be randomly assigned to either follow the exercise program or continue their normal routine for 24 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in fitness, heart function, and symptoms to see if the exercise plan is safe and helpful.
