First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study tests whether a home-based exercise program (walking and strength training) can prevent memory and thinking problems from getting worse in people with advanced chronic kidney disease (stages 4 and 5) who already have mild cognitive impairment. About 124 participants will either follow the exercise plan or receive standard care. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to protect brain health and improve quality of life.
