Can a home workout and a supplement help cancer survivors fight prediabetes?
NCT ID NCT05023993
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a home exercise program, with or without a vitamin B3-like supplement called nicotinamide riboside, is practical and helpful for adult survivors of childhood cancer who have prediabetes. The main goal is to see if survivors can stick to the program and if it improves their muscle health and how their bodies process sugar. The results will help plan larger future studies.
