First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether an 8-week eccentric (lengthening) strength training program is better than standard concentric (shortening) training for improving muscle strength, body composition, and blood sugar in obese, inactive women aged 25-45. Participants will train twice and have tests before and after. The goal is to see which type of exercise leads to better health changes.
