First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special exercise program using a universal exercise unit could improve arm function and strength in children with spastic hemiplegia cerebral palsy. Forty children aged 5-9 years took part. Half received the special exercises plus standard physical therapy, while the other half received only standard therapy. After 3 months, the researchers measured arm movement quality and muscle strength to see if the special program offered extra benefits.
