Summary

This study tests whether a 6-week exercise program can improve exercise capacity and quality of life in people with nontuberculous mycobacterial pulmonary disease (NTM-PD), a chronic lung infection. Researchers will enroll 50 adults aged 40-80 and randomly assign them to start exercise right away or wait 6 weeks. The program includes one hospital-based education session and five days of home-based exercise per week.
