First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 12-week supervised exercise program during dialysis can help patients over 40 with chronic kidney disease build muscle, improve sleep, and feel better overall. Half of the 58 participants will do strength and aerobic exercises during their first 90 minutes of dialysis, while the other half receives standard care. The goal is to see if this simple addition to routine care can reduce frailty and improve quality of life.
