Heel pain relief: exercise boosts steroid shots, study finds
NCT ID NCT06917937
First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding specific foot exercises to a common steroid injection can better relieve pain and improve walking in people with plantar fasciitis, a leading cause of heel pain. Forty adults with heel pain for at least a month took part. Researchers measured pain, flexibility, and walking distance to see if the combination approach worked better than the injection alone.
