First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding specific foot exercises to a standard corticosteroid injection can improve pain and walking ability in people with plantar fasciitis, a common cause of heel pain. Forty adults with heel pain for at least one month took part. The researchers measured pain, flexibility, and walking distance to see if the combination approach worked better than the injection alone.
