Exercise plus Anti-Inflammatory drink may reverse frailty in seniors

NCT ID NCT07182292

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding an anti-inflammatory nutritional supplement (Alisenoc™) to a home-based exercise program helps frail, malnourished adults aged 75+ improve their physical strength and reduce inflammation. About 158 participants will be randomly assigned to either the supplement plus exercise or a standard supplement plus exercise for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in mobility, muscle mass, and blood markers, and follow up for one year to see if the combined approach reduces hospital visits and improves independence.
