NCT ID NCT07076797

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a leg exercise program and a mild electrical nerve stimulation can help older women (ages 65-84) build muscle, walk more steadily, and lower their risk of falling. About 42 relatively healthy women who live independently or in a nursing home will take part. Researchers will measure muscle thickness, strength, walking speed, and fall risk before and after the program.
