First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at how prostate and colorectal cancer affect the energy-producing parts of cells (mitochondria) and whether a 4-week home exercise program could help. Fifteen men awaiting surgery did either resistance training or high-intensity interval training. Researchers measured changes in mitochondrial activity and muscle function before and after the program.
