Scientists test how hard workouts change your brain
NCT ID NCT07137611
Summary
This study aimed to understand how different exercise intensities affect brain chemicals and thinking skills. Researchers had 12 healthy young adults complete four different sessions: high-intensity intervals, moderate running, low-intensity running, and just resting. They measured brain chemicals in the blood and tested thinking skills after each session to see which type of exercise had the biggest impact.
