First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a supervised exercise program can help people with blood cancers maintain or improve their strength during a stem cell transplant. Fifteen adults took part, with some doing strength, endurance, and flexibility exercises for 8 weeks while others received usual care. The goal was to see if exercise could reduce the loss of handgrip, back, and leg strength that often happens during transplant.
