First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a 6-month program of combined aerobic and resistance exercise, done during dialysis sessions, can improve muscle strength, body composition, and daily function in people with chronic kidney disease. Forty patients will be split into an exercise group and a usual-care group to compare results. The goal is to find a practical way to help dialysis patients feel stronger and have a better quality of life without extra trips to the gym.
