What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

supervised exercise program (aerobic and resistance training)

What this could lead to

If successful, this could show how to routinely offer exercise as part of cancer care, potentially improving patients' physical health and well-being.

What could go wrong

This is an early implementation study, not testing a new treatment. It may find that adding exercise to cancer care is not feasible or doesn't significantly improve outcomes.
