First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether physical activity and fitness can reduce inflammation and improve daily life in 100 children (ages 6-17) with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Researchers will measure fitness, inflammation markers, and quality of life, and test a 12-week supervised exercise program. The goal is to see if adding structured activity to standard care can help manage the disease.
