First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) can improve liver health in adults aged 18 to 59 who are overweight or have obesity. Thirty participants will either do HIIT for 8 weeks or continue their usual routine. The goal is to see if exercise can reduce liver fat and scarring, even without major weight loss.
