Shake it off: can simple exercises ease high blood pressure symptoms?
NCT ID NCT07242651
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific set of guided shaking exercises, called Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), can improve sleep quality and overall quality of life for women with long-term high blood pressure. Forty women aged 50-65 will be randomly assigned to either do the exercises along with their usual medical care or to continue with medical care alone for eight weeks. Researchers will measure changes in sleep, mood, and well-being to see if the exercises help.
