Shake it off? new study tests if simple tremor exercises ease high blood pressure symptoms
NCT ID NCT07242651
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific set of exercises, called Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), can improve sleep quality and overall quality of life for women with long-term high blood pressure. Forty women aged 50-65 will be assigned to either do the exercises along with their usual medical care, or to continue with medical care alone. The exercise group will do supervised sessions three times a week for eight weeks to see if the program helps them feel and sleep better.
