NCT ID NCT05422235
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding foot and ankle exercises to regular aerobic exercise (like walking) can improve muscle strength and reduce nerve pain in people with type 2 diabetes who have nerve damage in their feet. 74 adults were split into three groups: one continued usual care, one added aerobic exercise, and one added both aerobic and foot exercises. The goal was to see if the extra foot exercises helped more than aerobic exercise alone.
