First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a 6-week program of non-weight bearing exercise can help diabetic foot ulcers heal faster than standard wound care alone. About 40 adults with type 2 diabetes and a foot ulcer will be randomly assigned to exercise plus standard care or just standard care. Researchers will measure changes in wound size, blood flow, and overall metabolism.
