Scientists test if playtime can heal young minds damaged by cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT02153957
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week home exercise program could improve memory and attention problems in children who had radiation therapy for brain tumors. Thirty-six children, ages 8-17, were split into two groups. One group started the exercise program right away, while the other waited 12 weeks, allowing researchers to compare the effects of the program against usual activity.
