Walking to ward off memory loss in kidney patients

Summary
This study is testing whether a home-based exercise program can help slow down memory and thinking problems in people with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) who are also experiencing mild cognitive impairment. About 124 participants will be randomly assigned to either follow a 26-week program of walking and strength training or receive their usual medical care. The goal is to see if regular physical activity can improve brain function and quality of life for these patients.
