First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether 6 months of moderate aerobic exercise could improve memory and brain function in healthy but inactive older adults (ages 60-80) who are at higher risk for Alzheimer's disease. Participants were randomly assigned to either moderate exercise or gentle stretching. The goal was to see if exercise could help protect the brain and delay memory loss.
