Sweating for sanity: can exercise beat bipolar depression?

Summary

This study is testing if adding supervised aerobic exercise to regular medication helps people with bipolar depression get better faster and stay well longer. It will involve 54 participants who are randomly assigned to either do exercise, relaxation, or just get information for six weeks. Researchers will track symptoms, physical health, and follow up for three years to see if exercise provides lasting benefits.
