Can understanding pain make exercise more effective for chronic back sufferers?
NCT ID NCT07202533
Summary
This study is testing whether adding educational sessions about how pain works in the brain and body makes standard back exercises more effective for people with long-term, non-specific low back pain. It involves 20 participants who also have a heightened sensitivity to pain. One group does exercises alone, while the other does exercises plus the pain education, to see which approach better reduces pain and improves movement and daily life.
