Diet and exercise may boost quality of life for incurable cancer patients

Summary
This study looks at whether a program of exercise and better nutrition can help people with incurable stomach or esophageal cancer feel better and maintain their quality of life. About 196 participants will either receive standard care or standard care plus a supervised exercise and diet plan. The goal is to see if the program slows the decline in quality of life that often happens during cancer treatment.
