Summary
This study looked at how two different exercise types—open kinetic chain (like leg extensions) and closed kinetic chain (like squats)—affect balance and jumping ability in people who don't move much. Sixty-eight sedentary adults aged 18-30 did one of the two exercise programs or served as a control group for four weeks. The goal was to see which exercise type improves balance and jump performance more.
