First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a supervised exercise program during the second and third trimesters can improve fitness, blood pressure, and weight gain in first-time mothers, and also benefit the baby's health. Researchers will measure heart and lung fitness, blood markers, and newborn outcomes in 64 healthy pregnant women. The goal is to see if simple lifestyle changes can reduce pregnancy complications.
