Could a quick workout boost your therapy session?
NCT ID NCT07221929
Summary
This study is testing whether doing moderate exercise right before therapy sessions makes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) work better for depression. Researchers will compare 100 adults with depression who either exercise or rest quietly before their weekly therapy sessions. The goal is to see if this 'exercise priming' helps people connect better with their therapist and become more active in their daily lives.
